At Ceylon Guruge Gems, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please read our Refund and Returns Policy below to understand the process for returning items and requesting a refund.
Returns
Eligibility for Returns
You may return an item within 30 days of receipt, provided it meets the following conditions:
- The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
- You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
- Customized or personalized items, including engraved jewelry, are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
How to Return an Item
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact our Customer Service team at info@ceylongurugegems.com with your order number and reason for return.
- Our team will guide you through the return process and provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Securely package the item, including all original packaging, certificates, and documentation, and clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package.
- Ship the item to the address provided by our Customer Service team.
Return Shipping
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to an error on our part (such as receiving the wrong or defective item).
Refunds
Processing Your Refund
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days to your original method of payment.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund within the specified timeframe:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@ceylongurugegems.com.
Non-Refundable Items
Certain items are non-refundable, including:
- Gift cards
- Final sale items
- Customized or personalized items (unless defective)
Exchanges
Defective or Damaged Items
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at info@ceylongurugegems.com within 7 days of receiving your order. We will arrange for the return and exchange of the item at no additional cost to you.
Cancellation Policy
Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it for a full refund. To cancel your order, please contact us immediately at info@ceylongurugegems.com. Once your order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled, but you may still return it in accordance with our returns policy.
